Genetic Question for you Pro's out there

OK, so a good friend of mine gave me one of his BOA's. It's an 05 Female Albino, 100 Het Snow.

If she was yours, what would you breed her to? Also, I really like Sunglows so if you could tell me what I can breed her to to get a Sunglow, that would be great also. Thanks for helping a newbie!

A hypo het albino male would be the cheapest way to make sunglows. if it were me i would take advantage of the fact that its het anery and get an anery het snow male. this way you get 25% snows 25% albinos 25% anery and 25% normals (all of the non snow byproducts will be either heterozygous or homozygous for albino and anery)- no possible hets!

If you want sunglows, breed her to a DH Sunglow...aka Hypo boa that is also 100% het for albino. You can end up with sunglows that route, and the babies will also be poss. or 50% het anery. You could also go with a Triple het...hypo het albino and het anery and shoot for the moonglow boas. Big price difference between the two, so it depends on your budget.

I agree with triple het if you have the funds. Then you cover all bases,Albino ,Anery, Ghost, Moonglow, offspring. You'll get your Sunglow and more. Lar M
