I love my Fuscus and cannot wait untill I breed them. In the pic it does not look like yours has a very yellow belly is it just the pic? Do you have any background info on your pair like are they Australian or New guinee specimens.

Congrats Ryan Young

Hey Ryan,
My female does NOT have a yellow belly. It is white and grey. She never has, my male has an orange belly, and for the past 4 years, so have ALL of the babies. My female almost looks blackish more than brown as well?? My friend has a pair from 04 from them and is trying to breed them to see if it is some sort of ressesive trait. Todd(another forum member here) also has a pair from me from 06? So we will be able to see if it proves out for him too. They were both sold to me in 98 as Australian, but who knows?? Good luck with you pair. Here are some babies from the past few years.

Nice Jasin- whooo-hooo!

The pair I got from you are doing great, growing like weeds, and are bottomless pits.

Question for ya- what's up with the glove, man???

Glad they are doing good. The glove, ya never know how pissed mom will be, we did not find her early in the a.m. as usual. She had the eggs most of the day, and the less I get bit, the happier I am,LOL!!

Awesome, Jasin! Man, I did not realize how large those eggs seem to be. Best of luck with a nice looking clutch! Hope to see you in Daytuna this year?!

I bet they ALL make it. They look great!

I never 'kiss and tell' this early in the season. Hahahaha... Okay, well sometimes I do and usually pay for it. I already slugged out on one KILLER project. BIG boo-hoo. So, I'm keeping it all on the low-down until I know the score over the next couple of months. Could be a 'quiet' season, we'll see! I'm keeping my fingers crossed on a few things. Trust me, if a couple 'hit' you gonna know about it.

Keep us posted on them eggs! Best of luck-

Matt

I'm not all too familiar with Water Pythons, so I'd be interested to learn a little here. I used to have one a few years ago, sold her when I decided to stick with Boas for the time being. Now she, and every one that I have seen had a yellow belly. White under the chin, but yellow down the entirety of her belly. I noticed yours has a white belly with some pattern on it. Could you explain this, are there different kinds?

Good luck with the eggs and the babies to come!

Hey CHris,
She does look almost Axanthic. If any one else has seen one like this, I would love to know too. I answered more or less the same ? above. I have breed her to a normal orange bellied male to her the past 4 years, and all the babies have orange bellies. If she is Axanthic, it is recessive. I will know next year when I breed 2 of her 04 offspring together. We'll see!! They are cool critters though........
