SC herping in July

I will be in the charleston area this summer bout the first of July any pointers on good herping areas and what are the laws down that way if anyone knows (here in TN they are real strict)

Not too sure about the laws, you can look those up on KS.. You will be near alot of good herp attractions tough. You HAVE to go to the Aquarium. Scip the first floor - all the cool stuff in on the second floor! They have a great indoor gator exibit!
There are a few good Nat. Parks north of Charelston, they are pictures only of course.
Oh and be carefull on the bridge... you'll know when you see it!

Thanks I appriciate it we go down just about every year and stay on Seabrook Island pretty good herping there but a very uh high end kinda place people kinda look at ya funny catching snakes (my grandpas boss owns a house there we stay for free) I am pretty familiar with the area but this will be the first year I will really be able to go herping off the Island I pretty well know landmarks but I am always with my family and well they dont sare my love for herping lol so this year I am driving down myself in my car so I can go do my thing while they are vacationing
