THE POST (Lahore, Pakistan) 25 March 08 Car snake scare
Lahore: Two people narrowly escaped death on Queens Road when a two feet long snake ensnared the feet of the driver of a car here on Monday. The driver was dumbstruck when the snake came from nowhere, and as a result he lost his control over the car. The driver later managed to park his car along a pavement and wisely called rescue services for help. A large number of people also gathered on the spot. Rescue 1122 officials reached the spot forthwith and examine the car. The snake entered dashboard of the car. Officials removed the entire luggage from the car and sprayed it with a concoction in order to compel the reptile to come out from its hide-out and locked it for few hours. After a few hours, the car was declared safe and passengers were allowed to go away.
