leo breeding size question

sport72186 Mar 30, 2008 01:11 PM

i'm wondering how different in size two animals can be to successfully breed. in the past ive tried to keep the male/female size difference to 10 grams or less. this year i picked up a few more leos and i have one big girl about 70 grams and my biggest male is 52 grams..

I would only worry about breeding a small female to a large male, as long as he can reach her vent it shouldn't be a problem. My male is 60 g and full grown but both my females are about 80 g and they all bred perfectly fine. good luck on the breeding this season.
