Got my pair of lemon specks

SDeFriez Mar 30, 2008 03:47 PM

the other day, man are they killer looking speckleds from Harris county Texas. Intence bright yellow specks/belly on a glossy, dark black ground color. Awesome snakes!

They make this other speck of mine look plain!

Now if Doug would fly out here and take some pics. Just kidding dude!

Thanks, but that's one of two of my Abberville Louisiana specks. They are beauties no doubt about that, but these lemon specks are from Harris county Texas and their coloration is nothing short of intence. The yellow on these specks is so bright and rich, while the ground color is a jet, glossy black. Almost makes my Louisiana specks look dull.

Now just have to buy a new camera so I can get some new pics. All my snake pics are pretty dated and really need to get some new ones of my Mex blacks, brooksis, black kings, Outer Banks, grays, etc.

What's a good camera to get that won't cost me an arm and a leg?

Thanks.

Very nice animals. Can I ask who you got those guys from?

Here is a getula I flipped at one of my old board lines last weekend while visiting family in Harris County. They are just as nice a little further west where more land still remains. Most of the good spots now lay under tons of concrete but this one is safe for the time being.

Thanks! That you do, seen and owned many specks, in fact have a pair from Louisiana that are gorgeous, but those Harris County specks are in a class by themselfs.
