Gecko eggs

So, my female layed eggs on Thursday morning while I was in class. I was expecting her to do so, but not this early, so I didn't have a nest box ready for her. She buried them in her substrate and I recovered them when I came back. Only thing is, they were slightly deflated when I recovered them, so I thought they were infertile. But I put them in my incubator setup (class tank with heat bulb on top with the eggs in sealed contained with vermiculite kept at 86-88 F). Anyways, I checked on them Sunday and they were no longer deflated and were actually how they should be. I've been doing the candle test, but since this is the first time I've successfully recovered the eggs, I am unsure of whether or not they're fertile. I believe the one is and the other is not, but again, I am not sure. I will post pictures of the eggs when I get a chance to take decent pictures of them.
My question is this: if they were deflated, but reinflated, does that mean they're fertile? Or do infertile eggs do this as well?

The fact that they were deflated when you found them and then reinflated after putting them in the incubator has more to do with humidity than fertility. They were drying out in the substrate and once in the incubator they regained their proper moisture. Sorry but as for fertile or infertile, I haven't got a clue.

It's good that they came back as for fertility you should wait for 2 weeks to candle them, it is more accurate that way and when you do you should see a maybe a light pick or orange hue and or what looks like little viens. Just remember to open the container atleast weekly so that fresh air can get in. Just give them a chance but if you see one or both getting mold I would remove it. GL
