My son came home with a ton a tiny itty-bitty frogs. At first i was going to tell him to bring them back to the creek but then I thought maybe the dragon can eat them. Does anyone know if frogs are safe??? They're maybe 2 inches wide. Also We fed our dragon some silkworms and now he wont touch his crix. Any help will be great!!! THNX!!!

I woudln't do it. Not only can frogs carry parasites, but they might poison the dragon too. I think you should take them back to the creek, or you might get a plague of mosquitos that the frogs weren't there to eat.

I would highly recommend NOT feeding the frogs to your dragon. Like previously stated they most likely will carry parasites and some could be poisonous.

I wouldnt feed my dragons anything that wasnt comemrcially bred. Even then you are taking a chance of introducing parasites to your beardeds, but its much less likely in captive bred feeders.

If your dragon wont eat crickets, try roaches, silkworms, supers (freshly molted ones), butterworms, waxworms (OCCASIONALLY), commercial bred grasshoppers (hard to find in the USA), rep cal pellets and always have fresh greens and veggies available. Goodluck. Lindsay
