I got a july 03 hatchling mud turtle on august 1st, then i went off to college and brought him with me. At home his tank was on the ground, and he hid in his plant ALL day long. Now hes on a dresser, and hes usually on his rock all day, and occasionally will get into the water and swim around, then swims back to the rock. Although this morning he was in his plant, 30 minutes later hes back on his rock again. So does anyone have an suggestions of why he might be hanging out on his rock so much now? I guess i should give him more out of water rocks if hes gonna get out a lot now eh?
