I have kept most of my groups in tact throughout the year for several years. I am considering separating for a few months this year for a couple of my groups.

I also have several females for which I am determining their true genetic makeup (ie, LV Albino possible het patternless). I keep these females separate during the breeding season and track their eggs separate as well.

As far as the put it back together question goes???? A lot of breeders slightly cool starting in late Sept and start warming in early Dec to initiate breeding behavior in late Dec or early Jan. That is how I plan to manage most of my colony this year.

I will be breeding for LV Patternless Albino and staring my Bell Patternless Albino project.

really depends on you...I put my leos together in March or April (I can't remember) and had babies hatching in the summer which was good for me since I was out of school at the time. breeders often put their leos together in late feb. or march.
