Just wondering what would happen if you take a kingsville red bull x Crumbly line bull. Whould they come out red, or double het for two different types of reds? I do not plan on doing this but I am wondering if it has been done.

If i understand this correctly...i believe those to be either line bred or just what a particuar locale looks like. If you breed them you will get some sort of intermediate of the 2. The recessive morphs are the hypos, whitesides, albinos...what else am i missing?

HI Ken
As far as my understanding the red gene is not a simple recessive trait. Its more of a line bred thing. So more the generations down the line and taking nicer red colored animals you can create redder animals. I hope that makes sence.
Kingsville Red and Crumbles Reds maybe related or may not be. Not enought is know about the Crumbles Red origination. My guess on breeding the 2 together is , you would get normals to a varity of reds individuals.

Thanks for the replies. Kinda what I thought. I also want to see what comes out of your red x yellow jason. Some of these genes can't be figured out until you breed them.
I hoping for bright orange animals but who knows what will happen. Might not get anything different or new.
