Questions for the regulars

Hi all -

I've been keeping snakes snakes of several species for awhile now but am relatively new to Alterna. I picked up a pair of adult generica alterna in late 06 and a sibling pair of '07 River Roads from Mitch Allen at the Daytona show. I am currently deployed to Ramstein Germany, but should be back in June. That being said, I have a few questions:

First, I'd like to make my first West Texas trip, possibly in July and wondered if anyone would want to meet up for some field herping, (especially someone who knows the area). I'd like to look around the River Road and Christmas Mountains areas... but am very open to suggestions...

Second, is Terlingua Ranch a good area to make a property investmment in (from an Alterna standpoint)?

Thanks, I can be reached at william.smoot@yahoo.com while deployed...

You don't happen to know a James Earnest or Jimmy Earnest do you? I believe he is an MP in Germany.

July is still good for western localities. Lance and I make usually 1 big trip a year and that will be in June.

If you start out in Sanderson at the Outback Oasis you will be in good hands. Roy Engeldorf is the owner/operator and is very knowledgable in herping the area.

Please feel free to ask questions. I can't be out there for a tour but sure happy to offer advice...

Best wishes,

SXO792
