It doesnt look like a Leatherback/Smoothback. Ive also never heard of a Dragon being "Het" for Leather/Smooth.
If your Dragon was a Leather/Smoothback some will say that it is "Het" for Silk.

Looks like a smooth back to me. It definitely has reduced scaling.

There is something going on with some of the trans/hypotrans having reduced scales. If you have a trans/hypotrans with reduced scales, it will probably produce some leather/partial leather babies here and there but it definately doesn't work the same way as the other two proven co-dom lines(A.C. and allessandro's). This year I put a couple of pairs of the leathers from my stock together, and also combined them with the proven co-dom lines. When the eggs hatch here soon, i'll definately know what is going on. Thanks, Josh

So by these breedings you will be able to determine if yours (Trans/HypoTrans) are dominate or co-dominate?
Good luck. I hope they prove out for you.

Jim.

Exactly Jim. When they hatch i'll post pics and info. Thanks, Josh

Here is a pic of one of the origional leather hypotrans from my stock. I look at this pic and realize how much of a jump the trans/hypotrans have made. If you have a trans/hypotrans with reduced scales, most likely they are a descendant from this guy. He's half dragon, half rubber?, lol Josh

These two poss. het trans poss. het hypos are from a leather double het male who was a baby from the origional leather hypotrans male(last post). I don't know if anyone remembers Tracy's beardeds, but I used her stock to beef these guys up. Josh

Oh my Gosh! I remember Tracy. I bought her best F2 wild caught several years ago. I think she went into real estate. What a shame.
Take care,
Karen
