phoenix worms

CoutureLeoLvr21 Apr 01, 2008 07:40 PM

has anyone tried using phoenix worms? according to what i read theyre supposed to be good for most reptiles, including leos. im planning on trying them for my bearded dragons, and would like to use phoenix worms as opposed to crickets as much for my leos too. from what i read they appear to be all around awesome but before i give them to my leos i want to make sure theyre ok and see what others thought. thanks!

I use phoenix worms. My geckos love them! I bought a skinny gecko out of pity from Petco because he was being bullied and not allowed to eat, I put him on phoenix worms and he fattened up in like 2 weeks.

good to know, i was worried about getting them then hearing that theyre bad for leos or something. mine will eat anything that has the possibility of moving, so im sure theyll eat them. im trying to breed mine, so i figured itd be nice to have a steady baby food source. pinheads are harder to get around where i live

Can I ask where you are getting them from? I'm always looking to vary my leos' diets'

I get mine from Ghann's Cricket Farm. The site is www.ghann.com. I also order my crickets from there and I must say that I am very satisfied with both the quality and price of the crickets and phoenix worms. Also, if you live in FL, GA, AL, or TN, you can order them ground and still receive them overnight for no extra charge because they are located in GA.
