Pacman not eating

Voltron23 Aug 29, 2003 09:46 AM

I recently bought an albino pacman frog. The store had him for 5 days before I bought him (I was just making sure that he was healthy.) When I went in to the store (daily) to check on the guy, he was eating fine. Actually, he was eating a lot. I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with him. He just wont eat. My guess is that he isn't used to the new enclosure he is in... or maybe the enclosure is too big for him. They fed him in a little tupperware container. I am open for any suggestions.

your pac man is probily not used to his in closer, what are trying to feed him/her? He/she may not be used to the food your giving him, what foog did they give him in the store? and are you handleing him often?

I am feeding him crickets... the same exact thing that they were feeding him at the store. I guess you could say that I am handling him a lot, but that's only because I am moving him out of corners and such. I put a towel over his cage so he can get used to the enclosure.

leave your frog in corners, he might not be eating because of that, try to make his tank as close as possible to the tank they had him in. why are you useing a towel??????

The guy at the store said to put a towel over his cage so he gets used to his surroundings inside of the tank. It would be impossible to make his tank the way it was at the store, due to the fact that he was kept in a small tupperware container (because there were other pacmans in the tank.)
