Nice name on the first, i have what i thought was a female greenish snow named Mia, but it turns out that it shoudl be Miles! oops, all takin care of now, and waiting for my NEW female to feel gravid! i really like the green on yours tho, mine has more of a green border around the saddles, yours is more like full green saddles! Nice

THANKS!!! i really like her... and pictures dont do her justice. shes real green... where the pics make her look yellow... i'm not the best photographer. i'm actually breeding her to a het hypo male to see if the green has anything to do with the hypo gene. then next year i'll try to produce greens i have a male snow who is showing alot of yellow... so i'll try them next year thanks for the kind words

Hey, Congrats!
I can not wait until I get soem eggs. But then again, thats when the real waiting starts.
I noticed in the second picture, the substrate in your box is real fine. Mine is much more "chunky". How does that work for ya?
Then again, I only have one place in the area that supplies vermiculite, so I use what I can get.

Greatest of luck on this years projects

thats the only vermiculite i can get in chesterfield. and i get it from Home Depo or Lowes. the snakes seem to like it and dig in it.... i also use it for my Leos and its easier for them to dig in it than the larger granules. it seems to work just fine.... i know your supposed to get the larger granules for air circulation... but i havent had a problem... its more like what snakes really lay in(Dirt) and the only problem is that its only available once a year... but you get a huge bag (like the size of bagged soil) for only $3 at the max.
