Treats for my rats are table scraps. I'd keep a bucket in the fridge and dump leftovers into it and split it up for all the girls every week or so.

My rats also love yogurt drops (in the small animal section) and yogurt covered raisins, sweet cereals, fruits (no citrus). They get hard dog treats to gnaw on and wear down their teeth, and sometimes get pig ears! They love everything and can eat just about anything we can.

There are some foods you need to avoid, they are deathly to rats such as any citrus and large doses of chocolate, etc.

Any rat fan club website will have a small section on good rat treats.

Greens are good but in SMALL doses. Too much iceburg lettuce will kill your rats and most other small animals. I give mine the heels of bread and the leafy parts of celery. I have a lot of chickens so they get most of my kitchen scraps.

My rats favorite treat is hissing roaches. When I bred roaches the rats got to eat them a lot. Roaches are great enrichment for them. They get to hunt in groups to kill them and it is a good challenge for them to eat. Since the roaches climb the rats really have fun chasing and catching them.
Mealworms are great also. Through some in the bedding when you clean the cage and the rats go nuts foraging for the worms.

Mine get Harlan 2018 blocks as a staple, and as "treats" they get occasional fresh vegetables (carrots, peas, greens), millet, rolled oats, sunflower seeds. Occasionally dry rice.

They REALLY love cheerios or the generic knock-offs.

thanks for all suggestions! i would love to give them a hissing roach the most but can not get any of those till i go to the next show. i will settle for sunflower seeds! im guessing without salt??

Yes, without salt. The sunflower seeds sold for bird feed.

Mealworms are good too, and I occasionally give mine a spare adult dubia roach which is hilarious to watch. They chase that thing for a good half hour before it's finally eaten up.

thanks! cant wait to find some roaches!!
