Weight Loss Plan for overweight corns

sheshanaga Apr 02, 2008 01:01 PM

In an effort to be as “cruelty-free” as possible in caring for my Cornsnakes, I’ve completely eliminated rodents from their diets.

Instead, I’ve taken to adding live brine shrimp to their water bowls on a daily basis. I can raise them myself for next to nothing, and I feel much better knowing that no animals were harmed in order to feed my snakes. My snakes love it, and they now spend a good part of the day getting exercise by constantly roaming the cage and “fishing” at their water bowls for their little shrimp surprises!

Their weight loss has been dramatic, and I've never seen so much activity out of them. They must have just been weighed down with all that food they had been getting when I was feeding them F/T mice.

I truly hope this is an April fools joke.
The weight loss would be dramatic all right.
at least until they died.

wow ,why didnt the rest of us figure this one out? quit feeding what they should be eating(mice)and feed them seamonkeys.this way they can roam around looking for food and losing weight and dying all at the same time.what a great idea!
