Spots on my white's

Voltron23 Aug 29, 2003 10:22 AM

Ok, i've asked this question before in this forum... a while ago, I noticed some spots on my frogs body. They were dull white then, but since then... the spots have changed to a darker color, almost black. He hasn't been green since I purchased him... I change the water daily, and the humidity is at 60%. For now, they are housed in a 10 gallon tank (until I manage to get 40 dollars for a 20 gallon high.) what do you think these spots are from???? What can I do to change these spots? Do you think that he is just stressed from a change in the barometer from a storm last night? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

The spots may be nothing. Just like freckles on humans. Some frogs icluding whites will have these little spots on them. Green treefrog, are also known to have little orangish spots on them.

It also may be some kind of skin infection, though. See what other forumers have to say,

Steven
