I to was looking into getting a dwarf (ended up getting a spectacled due do a good deal) and from what i heard most are aggressive... there are always some individuals that may be more relaxed but most caimans are little devils if your not prepared to deal with something that wants to bite you all the time i would stay steer clear. Crocidilians are also not cheap to keep. Also how much experience does your friend have they are DEFINATELY not a beginner reptile... and i dont mean like a beardie or a leopard gecko I mean some aggressive animals if not i would start with something like a monitor or tegu little easier to work with and good learning experience and very intelligent animals.
