They are nice looking, but why didn't you breed
the female to another Edisto Isl. and the male to another Richland Co.? Both locales are available?

I've produced patternless before but not from this line as yet. The female has a monderate amount of striping so genetically the potential to produce stripers and patternless is at least present in the F1 generation.

My male is form GCR Blaze line and the female is from Brandon Osborns's hi-red line.

thanks doug, but these are not edistos. their mother is an edisto and the father a richland county, few hundred miles away making them mixed locale lgg. i bred them because both are very black w/bone white. sadly my male their father escaped during brumation and hasnt been seen since. so i probably wont breed mom this year, but i have a few others that may go, things are startin to pickup around here...

I realize your breeding was from two different locales, I was just basically commenting on how much I like Edisto Island kings, that's all. Again, those are some great looking youngsters!

Yeah, lots of activity going on in collections right about now, from your other photos, it looks like lot's of "boot-knockin'"..LOL!
