Another genetics question

What would you expect from a lavender x anery stripe crossing? What would the babies look like? (and yes I am a newbie with corns)Thanks

Unless the parents are recessive(heterozygous)carriers for unknown traits, ALL the offspring will be het for lavender, anery, and stripe(triple hets).

i agree with DMONG they will be all normal with hets unless they share the same "hidden" trait

Hmmm.....but don't they both carry reccesive only genes? How does a dominant normal show up out of recessive genes?

All three of those genes mentioned are recessive, and since BOTH parent's have unlike recessive traits to one another, ALL the offspring will be normal "looking", but will be recessive gene carriers of ALL THREE TRAITS(triple het), the only dominant trait here is normal/wild type.

Or more specifically the normal appearance is not a gene or trait but is in fact rather the absence of any exhibitted traits.

Although on second thought that may not be any clearer lol
