Have I said that I LOVE these babies???

They ate last night and as many people know, I like to see what color they are capable of displaying and the best time is after a meal.

Check 'em out!
Female on left, male on right

Male - he shows more color on an average day

Female - she shows more color after eating

females head!!! SERIOUSLY!!??? WOW!

8 months old...

Jonathan_Brady Apr 05, 2008 07:33 AM

I'm not sure much pink/red an animal can have, but I think these two might be able to show us!

Both parents are from gravid imported females out of Guyana. So those babies are F1's of WC

That is so unreal. I wish they were mine.

Jonathan_Brady Apr 05, 2008 07:36 AM

I'll be curious to see how the remainder of the litter turns out.
Hope the people that bought the other babies are nice enough to post pics, or at least send some pics to me!

If/when that pair produces, I'm planning to hold back a majority of the litter because I found with this litter, that after I picked my holdbacks, I changed several times because they changed several times. The nice ones are always easy to pick out from the very beginning, but it's hard to decide which the NICEST are because of their variability.

Almost makes me regret getting rid of all my BCC and switching
to BCA and morphs....

Jonathan_Brady Apr 05, 2008 07:40 AM

What's it going to take to get "full-on" regret?
Haha, thanks!

That's an amazing litter. Was the father as impressive as rose?

Jonathan_Brady Apr 05, 2008 07:45 AM

The father was very unique actually. Aberrant pattern from a litter of aberrant animals. Color wasn't anywhere close to Rose.
