I had Drill today we got 3 new hemmet trucks (60,000 pound tow truck) and they shipped all the equipment that goes on them (stuff for the crane,winches and basic stuff) In big wooden crates so I now have 3-32x42x18" crates and 3 5x4x16" crates mades out of half in. ply and 1"x4" pine boards, so im thinkin im gonna build a 64"x42"x48" enclosure im thinkin FRP on the bottom and up a foot.then painting the inside,then paneling on the outside.

Im not sure how to secure FRP and I do not know what kind of paint to use so any help their would be great.

here are some pics of a couple unassembled boxes

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

Screw the cages lets see pics of Osh Kosh's New production.

*Still tryin' to get my hands on a used HEMTT*

By the way FRP attaches best with contact adhesive, Henry makes a great CC just for the stuff.

What species is this for?

yea i cant spell..e ill put up som pics tomorrow..i havent decided what species and for now im just gonna base it off 1 smaller box 42 x32" stacked 3 high basically should be about 54" tall. the species im thinkin are either aussie water dragon or frilled dragon , i want something that will use the vertical space. im keeping the other boxes so when it gets bigger so will the enclosure,as far as paint goes im guessing anytype for bathrooms would be good i might just use linoleum or tile board though

What year are those? The new ones you recieved were they "New" from Osh Kosh? According to their site they made quite a few changes for the 08' builds, just wanted to see actual shots of the production models.

I was given the oppurtunity to bid on 2 wrecked vehicles brought home from Iraq a few years ago. Both jumped to over 30K in the first 24hrs, so I will have to wait a few more years.

I'm having a similar problem getting my hands on a used HMMWV, problem is with the addition of armor to all units within the DOD. The demil prcess is to great so they aren't made available on the gov auctions sites. Hopefully as the conflict overseas dies down they will allow the sale of damaged units with a EUC.

One can only hope...

By the way those reading that don't understand the acroynms;

HEMTT = Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (M977 or equivilant)
HMMWV = High Mobility Muiltipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (M998, M1114 or M1116)
EUC = End Use Certificate (required for demiled military assets that would damage the US war fighting capibility if released)

Cheers
