White Lockup!!! WOOO!!!! (graphic)

waspinator421 Apr 04, 2008 08:25 PM

I decided to try again with my Whites this year, even though I haven't had any luck with my other Thayeri girls. Well, I put them together and whoa! He was ready.... she was ready... within minutes they were locked up!!

Here are the pictures I got during the whole episode... which took about 15 minutes. Now.... lets just hope that his boys fertilize any potential eggs!

a decent microscope to sample that sperm deposit. One can go to a teachers' supply/educational store and purchase a general-purpose microscope for about $50. With a little practice and a good 10x-20x power, the hunt for viable sperm is afoot. It's reassuring to know that a male is a stud and not a dud. Can't wait to see the babies!

LOL, I was wishing I had a microscope when he left me that little present. Would've been cool to see if his sperm was alive and likely to fertilize the eggs. I suppose I will just have to wait for the eggs now.

Thanks for the tip, though. I just might get one of those for next year in case I get any more "specimens".
