I know this isn't the right forum, but this is one of my most anticipated pairings this year. I just had to share with you guys too!

I decided to try again with my Whites this year, even though I haven't had any luck with my other Thayeri girls. Well, I put them together and whoa! He was ready.... she was ready... within minutes they were locked up!!

Here are the pictures I got during the whole episode... which took about 15 minutes. Now.... lets just hope that his boys fertilize any potential eggs!

Aubrey, those snakes are hot hot hot! I hope the snake gods are smiling on you and you get some nice babies. I used to have an alterna. Every now and then I think about picking up a pair and trying my hand at kingsnakes.

Thanks for all the compliments!! I am thrilled that these guys locked up... now I just hope that her eggs will be fertile.

Man, I had these two since they were shoe strings.... my little babies are all grown up now (wipes tear). LOL

...They are beautiful. The white phase are the most exotic looking. I have sold thayeri for a friend of mine and each time I have been tempted to get a pair for myself. Good luck with them.

Great pic's and I hope you get a fertile mating, when I breed any colubrids (never bred kingsnake's of any kind) I usually try for more then one mating.

Do you have more then one attempt lined up in your breeding strategy ?

I thought I saw some spermatozoa in those pic's. So if it's like rat snakes and corn snakes usually just one or two shots gets the job done.

They are truly beautiful snakes so I am sure you are excited.

I hear that "group" can be a pain in the butt to get the neonates feeding, at times involving lizards etc...

Make sure you give us updates. I have considered purchasing snakes from that group many times.
