Actually a night adder from Africa captive born here in the states. Looks like a hog though. Front fanged and venomous.

That snake is awesome looking!!! I used to own an extensive venomous collection,but here in colorado venomous are illegal so I had to get rid of them. Man I miss all those mexican rattlers and european vipers. Kevin
Look at those round pupils and platelike scales on the head. That's such an awesome snake... Is it yours?
I've wanted to have some Causus for some time, but unfortunately here in California they are outlawed (though some colubrids that are more venomous are not). Pfft...
