Since this seems to be one of the most active of the Lizard forums, thought i'd try posting here.
I'm looking into buying Metal Halide lights for a 6x5x4 enclosure and everything I have read from breeders of Green Basilisk (What I have) is that Metal Halides are the way to go for them to be the most active/brilliant coloration possible.
I've posted in that forum and general and no one ever answers.
My questions are
1. What Metal Halides are ok to use in that size enclosure? (Specifics help, like what type, how much Lux etc, there are a lot of them).
2. If you know of any cheaper ones let me know, I can't spend hundreds on them, but have seen them under 40$.
