differences kennerlyi to nasicus

hum707 Apr 05, 2008 01:05 PM

I was wondering if everybody could throw their thoughts in here.
I was wondering what the major and minor differences between nasicus and kennerlyi are. I have done plenty of research, but I bought a pair of hogs that came from NM and the female looks like a nasicus but reduced dorsal pattern. The male he is definitely a kennerlyi. http://s280.photobucket.com/albums/kk161/bpb707/th_Afewsnakes026-1.jpg

If these don't come through let me know!

Sorry for all the posts. I have been experimenting a little or more like a lot.

You should count the azygous scales to determine.

Hi,
I have also this doubt on my kennerlyi.
Where are exactly the azygous scales?
This is a scan of the shedd.

It is funny that we don't get any answers. There are supposed to be these really smart guys that know everything about hognoses on here, but now I am starting to wonder. We can't all know everything! The day you know everything, is the day you have stopped learning.

let them time
I'm sure I'll get an answer...

No one?

>>No one?

Azygous scales are the small scales directly behind the rostral and between the internasals.

Check this paper by Hobart Smith et al for more info on kennerlyi:
