Good, secure tub for a 5-month old black

I plan on getting a 5-month old male black milk soon. He's about 10". I was going to get a small tank, but was recommended to go with a small tub. Would this work well?

I don't know if it's secure enough, I know these guys are notorious escape artists. I like it though, because it's completely clear, which should make viewing/lighting easier.
I was also recommended the following tub:

This one should be more secure (though, still probably not secure enough), though it has an odd shape, and the top isn't clear, so I couldn't use overhead lighting. I definitely need some sort of lighting, because the little guy's gonna be kept in my room, which has very little natural lighting. Oh, and any tips on good lighting for a tub?
One of the problems is, I'm having trouble finding tubs in single quantities for sale online. Most are packs of 6 or 12. And shipping is a lot. Any places with good single prices, or good local stores I should check out?
The number one thing is that the tub is absolutely secure, as the only condition I have for getting a snake is that he NEVER gets out. My grandma says he has to go if she ever sees him anywhere other than in my room.
Oh, and finally, how long would something this size probably be good for?

Thanks guys! I'll post pics as soon as I get 'em.

Trust me here.....
No matter what type of housing you opt for; tub/viv/tank etc...your snake will explore every weakness. And gaigae are very powerful snakes.
Tubs are fine in a rack or stackable system but if you're considering a single snake in a room, why not find a nice 20-30 gal (low style) aquarium with a drilled plexi or screen lid that can be decorated and lighted with an aquarium style light?
The lid is the weakpoint and you'll want some sort of bricks and 2X4 or 4X4 brace on the top. Think overkill when selecting the weights for the top. Be sure to poke around on the housing/caging forum too and ask questions there.
Don't trust the tub latches or the flimsy latches that come with reptile cage lids without lots of extra weight.
Everybody here has an escape story (except me of course).
