of a '07 baby. I noticed her holding her head up and her mouth and throut area looked swollen. I figured it was mouth rot so I get her out for treatment and look inside to see a large gelatinous mass. It seemed stuck in the back of her throat. I got it our with a little patience, a q-tip and a hemostat. It had some texture but was mostly clear and thick, about the size of large kernal of corn. It came out fairly easy with a little pressure on her throut and pulling gently from the front. Her mouth looks fine, tongue is fine nothing that looks like mouth rot. I am going to treat her for mouth rot anyway and watch for any signs of URI. She is acting like it was a relief to have it removed and is actually acting hungry. Never in 25 years of having snakes have I seen such a thing. Any ideas?
