Looks like a nice normal to me.
Maybe I don't know what the hell I'm talking about - but when I saw the picture, "Alabama" came to my mind. I don't know why - but maybe (just maybe) because it joggled a memory of an Alabama locality corn I saw somewhere ??

I decided my old sig was too big.
Well, it doesn't look like a morph to me either, but it certainly is a nice looking corn!,...those are some nice yellows, and orangey/reds!
What's the story behind it?

I would guess normal and speculate that it could even be het caramel with the yellow wash.
Or possibly a wild caught.
But we could guess, speulate, imagine, think or formulate opinions all day long and never even come close to being correct.
what were you told when you bought the snake?
an Alabama wild caught

She was found in someones backyard. I only asked the question because she does not look like any other WC I have ever found in this area. Also, she did not act like a wild animal, but very friendly and pounded f/t rat pups from day one. As for the AL....I am in Pensacola FL, about 15 min from the AL state line.

As far as eating f/t within a day or two of being captured I wouldn't take that to necessarily mean escaped captive. I have caught quite a few black rats that have fed immediately on f/t. It isn't out of the question for a nice wild caught corn to do the same.
The fact that it was captured in a backyard would also lend credibility to the "wild caught" look a couple of us were leaning towards.
But, to be a little wishy washy....LOL...it sure does have a caramel "look" to it as well.
If it was me I think I would breed it to a caramel. That would answer that question anyway.
Until then, due to the only history you have, wild caught would be about the best way to label it.
Either way, wild caught or escaped captive, it is a beauty!!

If she proves to be het caramel - try to find a locality mate for her, a caramel line that could be traced to WC would be rather cool.
