Just weighed the girl.........

DMong Apr 06, 2008 12:29 AM

Just for the heck of it, I accurately weighed a bunch of my animals today. Here's the W/C female I captured as a little yearling in an Orange tree across the street from where I lived back in '05. She was a tiny little thing at only 22 inches long. She even had a huge lump in her belly when I captured her. I really thought that was cool that she just recently ate before being caught.

She's never been bred yet, but I plan to breed her to a few things in the near future. She weighs a healthy 480 grams.

best regards, ~Doug

Thanks!,.....as I also told Adam in my post below, I'd REALLY like to breed her to a nice looking locality male from my same area, one of these days, I hope to stumble upon one around here.

But again, if not, I'll breed her to that nice little hypo Lavender male when he becomes of age.

No!,.....on SECOND thought, I'll get my butt in the truck, and drive her down a couple hours to the guys house I got the hypo Lav. from, we talked about doing this when I was over there before. Heck, that would start the ball "rolling" and then I could breed mine to the het babies, and produce some hypo Lavenders MUCH sooner this way!,......Boy!, this is a definite "no-brainer" huh!???..LOL!

Yeah Jimmy,......yeah, a few hours drive is certainly WELL worth the several years I'll have saved in producing some hypo Lav's, that's for darn sure!

Until I find a sweet locality male, his KILLER adult male hypo Lavender would be a very smart move!,.....I think I might drive down next weekend possibly!,.......I'll let you guys know how things turn out!

I just can't get enough of how his adults turned out, and will look real forward to producing some myself!

Hey Adam!,........

As a matter of fact, that's EXACTLY what I'd like to breed her to, a nice locality male from my area!, I would imagine I'll find one around here some day. But if not, I'll breed her to a nice little hypo lavender(hold-back) I picked up from Deon last month. He should look killer as an adult, as the two hypo Lav. parents it came from are really SMOKIN'!
