Good to see folks breeding locale specific Florida pines, as I believe that with the exception of the Florida panhandle, mugitus is being relentlessly squeezed into microhabitats. As a Florida resident, I am prohibited by law to possess more than one unless an amel. While Duval county is rather large, I'm guessing your stock is from the western fringe.......close to the Osceola National Forest. If closer to the coast, your stock may well be from one of those diminishing microhabitats. Nice looking animals nonetheless!
