outside temp?

scripta_elegans Apr 06, 2008 01:13 PM

how warm does it need to be outside before I put Hannibal out for a bit of real sun? I have a screen ed 50 gallon viv for outdoor use, so I could place an additional heat lamp out there with him...

Hi Kolie, where are you? I live in NJ and it has been fluctuating here for quite a while, wind storms, warm, cold, freezing, warm again, crazy mix.

I do not put mine out to sun until it's atleast in the 80's

But maybe others have different ways......

How is Hannibal ????

I am in Iowa. It's been up and down here too. Hannibal seems to be over the calcium deficency problem, but now he is refusing food, and licking his lips. We are waiting for a call back from the vet, as he hasn't eaten in 2 days, and seems to be licking his chops rather obsessively. He also seems unwilling to open his mouth, so I am hoping that he doen't have an infection there now. I think I am driving the vet a bit crazy right now.
