Mexican bairdi off to the races!

antelope Apr 06, 2008 04:15 PM

I missed the sexy time shot yesterday of the Mexican bairdi gettin' busy and hoped for a repeat performance today. I took this cue to put a pair of splendida together and got a successful hookup there! The bairdi have been together all winter and shed together so I believe they are in tune. The striped meahlmorrim have also overwintered together and I hope for the same. I never see them in the day time but they are feeding heavily. I am waiting to shuttle a few more females his way! Here's a shot of the Hebbronville, Tx. pair of splendida from Pastor Pat via Tom Stevens. Looking good down in Corpus Christi!

Awesome! I should send some customers your way, Todd (in case you need any). People are knocking down the doors for these Nuevo Leon Baird's. Mine still haven't hooked up yet, that I've seen...hopefully in the next few days. Nice splendida!

Hey Todd,

Sam and Rosy belong to another breeder on this forum. Cool Tolkien names though.

As discussed in an earlier post Mexican Bairds are incredible and for some reason have been somewhat overlooked...until perhaps now..good luck with yours Dusty.

that they look very similar to yellow ratsnakes which in my opinion are also underrated. i would be interested to hear some other viewpoints as to why they may be underrated/overlooked. regards, rusty
