visually sexing houndourans

do anyone find this to be true more often than not male houndourans within three scales after the anal plate you will have a wide look then taper where a female has an almost immediate taper right after the anal plate is this true more ofter than not?

Some of my hondurans are readily sexed visually (by taper), some are not.
