Hi all:
I am trying to plan a rack system similar to the one on the Marcus Jayne site but I have a question:
How do you mount the 11" heat tape on the back panel?
Thanks!

Osborne just wrote me in the other thread and he says that you can just staple the heat tape to the back wood.
Just don't staple the chrome or metal part or the heating element part. ONly staple the plastic part.
I plan to use foil tape myself. look at this great rack thread on the gecko forum: he has a pic of the foil tape. forums.kinsnake.com/view.php?id=8724,8724
The heat tape goes straight down the side. Markus Jayne has six feet of it going vertically straight down.
cheesr.

Longtang. I like snakes and rats.
I used aluminum foil tape. Works perfectly. I wouldn't recommend stapling the heat tape at all. Even if you staple the outside part it can still tear.
I would recommend a strong heavy duty tape though.
Hope that helps.
