Bad eggs pic please?

wolfwoman Apr 07, 2008 08:56 AM

Hello all,
I have only breed once, last year, and had 21 good eggs, all hatched from my creamsicle who is a big girl. This year I have a female caramel about to lay in week or two,and she is a little on the small side. I don't expect as many eggs from her.
I was wondering if someone could post a pic of a batch of eggs where some bad eggs where laid as well?
I would like to see the difference and be able to tell when there are slugs.
Also, do you just leave them or remove them?
Thanks for any info.

At the top of the container, you can see 3 bad eggs.
If they are not connected to other eggs, throw them out. If you can not remove them from the good eggs, leave them be.

Second from the right is bad. I incubated it for a couple of days just to make sure. It becomes clear, real fast if an egg is bad

But just because an egg is smaller, does not mean that it is bad. All of these eggs are good.

Bad eggs are usually yellow, smaller, and dont dry as fast.

Hope this helps
