Snow Project - Advice?

tcdrover Apr 07, 2008 10:26 AM

I've got a nice female albino het for anery which I plan on
pairing up with a very clean ghost to get triple hets for
Moonglow, and also with a normal dbl het for snow male.

Which pairing would you recommend I do first?

She could mate with the dbl het for snow, and still not have any
snow babies (right?), so I'm kind of undecided...

I'm now up to 14 boas, I'm almost afraid of how many I will end
up with in the next 5 years.

If you breed your female albino het anery to a normal double het...you have the possibility of creating snows. If you breed it to your ghost you can create more ghosts, anerys, and normals all het for snow. Me personally, I'd breed your female to the double het snow.

I agree with Luke ... go with the DH Snow male.

Here is what the Genetics Wizard says:

Het. Albino, Het. Anery (aka DHet) x Homozygous Albino, Het. Anery:

12.5% Het. Albino
25% Het. Albino, Het. Anery
12.5% Het. Albino, Homozygous Anery
12.5% Homozygous Albino
25% Homozygous Albino, Het. Anery,
12.5% Homozygous Albino, Homozygous Anery (aka SNOWS)

Good Luck ... Bill Gaines

I got from you is doing great. His pattern is very clean, & he
has a very cool pattern on his tail...

I'm right about to get a normal female het for snow to give him
another little senorita & hedge my bets...

I third that.
If it were me, I'd be happy to have some snows.
Though you would get ghosts het moonglow, it'd be cool to have something visually different.
Good luck. I'll bet you'll have quite a few snakes in 5 years!

That's why I got those two, but after seeing how some people
managed to get zero snows from similar pairings I've been
thinking about how a ghost to an albino het for anery would
give me ghosts that are all het for Moonglow.

The Benjamin's might favor that litter.

(Not that I am only thinking about that, but).....

I in 16 are the odds. Can we have the stats and see the snakes? How old are all three and how big? May we see them?
