Arg B&W vs. Arg Red SVL

MrSickle Aug 29, 2003 02:45 PM

I'm just curious, but, seeing as Argentine reds are suppose to be more massive than Argentine B&W, are their SVL the same at the same overall length? Say I have an B&W at 4' total length, and a Red at 4' total length (which is supposed to be full grown size of a red). Would the red have a longer SVL, or are they just built bigger, rather than longer in certain areas? I have a long time before my little foot long red catches up to my B&W to do this test myself

Thanks,

Brandon

Hey,
I've had both red and black and white argentines (now just b/w) and I find that in over all length the reds reach about 3-4 feet and the b/w's reach 4-5 feet and very bulky (even tho Ive seen some FATA$$ reds lol). Some people with alot more experience qwitht them may disagree but this is just from expierience (i mostly deal with monitors, lizard wise)

Good Luck
