Gravid female Cali

Dragondreams Apr 08, 2008 02:19 AM

She is a '05 gravid female, 39 inches in length, bred by Scott Felzer. She has a great temperment for a Cali, has never attempted to bite even when young. Great eater. She should deliver in June, this will be her second set of babies. The photo has not been touched up, she really is that blue. Unfortunately, I got the male from someone else and he is a hateful thing, mean as they come.

LOL, that statement made me laugh, well put, but hey at least he is a "get er done" male, because he has been doing his job the past two years for you.

I take it that her attitude is not "normal" for Cali's, that his attitude is more what is expected. Everyone kept telling me that Cali's were aggressive, a nice way of saying, "watch out, they bite!". The babies that they've had take after "daddy", but its cute when they are small, not so cute when they reach 3 foot. It does seem that the more blue they are, the more aggressive the babies are, or is it their daddy's genes?
