Normal?

netoibarra Apr 08, 2008 12:18 PM

First off, I know nothing about bearded genetics. This is the only one I own and I bought him as a normal a few months ago for like 50 bucks I think. I picked him out of a cage with about 30 other beardeds, and they all looked the same at the time. He has lightened up in color a whole lot though. Hes kind of yellowish, with orange and purple. Oh and he also has clear (see through nails). Do I have something or is he just a normal. I call him he, but I really dont know what it is.

If he/she has clear nails then he/she is a hypo melanistic. Definately not normal coloration either. There are lots of pretty dragons sold as "normals" these days. I guess that way the customer never feels cheated if they expected something more.

I took in a baby a few ears back that I swore was a "normal". As she neared adult size she turned out real pretty.
