Today was the first day warm enough here this spring to even think about going out herping. It was in the upper 50s, and I was so excited to go out that I forgot to grab my camera, sorry. Anyway, I found 19 wandering garters along the Missouri River, 17 boys & 2 girls. Then I headed over to the Sun River, and found 3 male common red sideds. Not too bad for the 1st day out.

What?? If I found that many snakes in one day I'd be exstatic!! You should've had a camera.By the way,what are you calling a common red sided?? Jeff
