Tang tornadoes are about as close to red as you'll find. Red's not really a genetic color advantage to the areas they are from if you think hard about it.

Black leos are around, but there is controversy on the genetics. You have really dark, large spotted normals that can be made to be solid black. I think the famous one was "Midnight"? Maybe? A lighter, or more dark grey can be achieved through similar patterns as blizzards which are more common.

I'm not at my home computer or I'd post the genetics link I've got bookmarked there. Do some searching on your own, that's what's fun about google image search.

arent albinos and blizzards also not a color advantage? do you think that it will be possible for red leos to show up in the market? i mean green has already shown up (in reference to ron trempers emerine/emerald line)

as for the jet black leos, i do remember seeing a few pics of them but when i looked closely they just looked like normal blizzards with HUGE black spots that covered almost everything

but i guess its gonna be hard finding these, can you find time to post me your genetics links?

thanks

Ron Tremper is hoping to hatch out an all black Leopard from the Super Raptor Project. Go to his site and check it out. It's an interesting project. As for the Midnight Blizzard, there are several dark variations of them, I have only seen 1 or 2 that were "Black". Other wise there are several morph combos out today that exibit balck and red. So it only a matter of time before selective breeding will give us these two colors.
