What is it with your obsession with snake genitalia and excretions ?
Thats pretty weird to say the least
Ran
ALL of it is part of the process. I can recall trying to figure out what to look for when breeding boas and most of the people with "experience" either wouldn't (or at least didn't) post much "real" help or discriptive comments or photos. Now that I have the oppertunity to do that I do so that others my see it and perhaps answer some of the question I once had that I am SURE others don't want to feel silly or "weird" by asking.
The warning of graphic material is in the header so if anyone doesn't want to see it then you don't have to click on it. I personally find it much more educational [and interesting] than the "my two morphs that I am pairing up are rarer than anyone elses' " threads that seem to get so much fan fare.
By the way, the VAST majority of the pix I post are simply of animals in different backgrounds and situations. If the "genetalia and excretion" threads are all you remember then perhaps it is YOU with the problem.

Seems OK to me.

Great pic, always like to see the positive confirmation of actual copulation. How long were they locked like that?

Couldn't really say. I was at the shop for a few hours and didn't really check before I went down. Then when I came up for a second I decided to look in on them and there they were. Not just locked up but in the position to see that she had dropped her vent and he was in. When I came back up a couple of hours later they were both "sleeping" as the pupils were not light responsive and they wern't moving other than to breathe. I am just glad that she is actually letting him in. Now she just needs to take for me

I ask because a piar of my BCI were locked like that for over 5 1/2 hours. Found them like that and several checks later (5 1/2 hours worth) were still the same way.

LOL...looks good. I have seen lock ups last several hours or just a few minutes. My understanding is that it actually requires a little bit of effort to "unhitch". Best of luck with yours

Did ya notice how the hemipene is twisted in the first pic? How can any male not cringe at that sight? Looks like he did his job, that female is displaying all the signs of being gravid with all the correct timing. Is due on May 5th, just had her final "gestational meal" last night.
