i am setting up a temporary outdoor habitat. i'm using a kiddy pool that is about 4'x4' for one box turtle. i have it slightly slanted on a hill in my backyard to keep the water on one end. will it be ok for her to track mud into her water as she wades in it through out the day? i plan on replenishing with fresh water every morning since the kiddy pool has a drain and i can do so easily. if this is unacceptable what would be a better solution to this issue. also, i would like to build a real outdoor habitat, but i am not very handy so if anyone has any simple solutions for somebody with a tight budget, please let me know. links to websites about this topic would be greatly appreciated. thank you

what wanted and really should have said and in fact what I personally actually use is: HARDWARE CLOTH, but most people don't know what that is. It's like chicken wire but square pattern usually 1/2 or 1" squares, and much thicker, stronger wire.
