This male in the picture is an albino possible hybino and possible het anery that I got from Terry Dunham late in 2005. I tried mating him last year with my female ghost breeding that is already a proven producer but she laid slugs last year after mating with this male albino possible hybino. Perhaps he was way too young at that time (19 months) to breed. This year, he is now bigger and 2.67 years old.
The ghost is ovulating for sure, since I felt some pea size bumps as she crawls on my fingers. Question for you guys then would be: if you were me, would a ghost female be enough to prove that he is a hybino if all offsprings produced are visually hypos? And then if a ghost is produced, then it also proves him out as definite het for anery. I could use another hypo female breeder but was hoping to use the hypo female breeder for another project...and that would only prove out the hybino part and not the het anery part.
Below are the happy couple.
