In need of beautiful snake pictures...

Hollychan Apr 09, 2008 07:28 PM

My horse was put down last week. He was 29 years old and had been on steady decline for the past few weeks. When mom had the vet out, she said he was in pain and she couldn't do anything for him, which was enough for my mother to have him put down. She's never let an animal suffer for any length of time if there isn't any cure. I'm very distraught, even though I know it was the right thing to do. I've had that horse for fourteen years, he was as important as a family member.

I was thinking about it earlier today and figured out something that could really cheer me up. I'd really love it if you guys could post your most beautiful kingsnake pictures for me. By the way, I posted a tribute to my horse in the Arabian section of the Equine forum.

Thanks guys.

Geeez Holly, I'm really sorry to hear that news. I can only imagine how you must feel, that was a very long time you and the horse had together.

You've more than likely seen most of these already, but I'll put a few of 'em up anyway.

enjoy!, ~Doug

Doug, the sad thing is, I've actually seen people who look just like that frog...

Great pics as usual!

A little off-topic, but still cool

Thank you so much, guys. It really did cheer me up to see so many beautiful snake pictures. Doug, you even made me giggle.

Thanks so much for the condolences. I know it will hit me harder when I do get back up to my parents' cabin in Georgia and he's not standing there ready to greet me. I'm doing better now, but it's still hard.

Thanks again.
