my first colubrid eggs.........

mike_panic Apr 10, 2008 11:15 AM

in quite a few years. Its been at least four years since I have had colubrid eggs in the incubator. Its felt nice to see good eggs again. This is the Cherry County Pale female I receive from Jeff Hardwick earlier in the season. She laid five nice large eggs for me. Thanks for looking. Mike Panichi

Congratulations -- the eggs look great! Very early in the season too. And now the wait.... Can we see a pic of the male again?

way to go Mike!
The secret club handshake should include half a skink and a fat mouse tail. Maybe an aspirin too.

I have hatched out a pretty good number of cloubrid eggs in my time but these are the first Pales. Anyway so Im 1 for 2 on the season. A clutch of duds and a perfect clutch with this female. I'm sure I wont be so cheery when feeding time comes, LOL. Not to mention the Alterna problems I hope I am blessed to have in about two weeks(well two weeks to laying time anyway). Thanks again guys. Mike

Several herpers have told me that this stuff(when used as directed) works several times better than plain aspirin!

What sort of critter is that? It looks like a hypo syspila, plus the egg shape/size doesn't quite look multistrata.
